3개 중에 1개를 가리킬 때는 one, 또 다른 1개를 가리킬 때는 another, 그리고 남아 있는 1개를 가리킬 때는 the other라고 한다. Ex) I have three sons. One is nine years old, another is 7 years old and the other is 5 years old.
